for the ebay auction i go into it more on there,.  One note the painting has Santa pulling back his beard, or he is has a loose beard,  and the table has a swirling plate with a eye looking, i believe the background had what was a couple having sex,.

new inks , Read all about it, building up to a BBQ

i have a bunch of ink drawings ill me shooting out there, if they don't move i am going to put them in
a box to sell in a lot for a BBQ vid i want to make, ,.

 

there is a section to my work that deals with quick ideas based on making fun of Red and Bosco

so i think i am gonna start to make some more work build up to this box party , where if it don't sell i am gonna just throw it in a box and when it does make a bbq video thats the best way to approach this now ,  make an event out of it for a video,  the last good vid was the How to Fry Chicken. i wonder if i posted that here yet, this is or was my last good production video . check it out .

That video i had planed for months, made the work , and one night me and red got into an argument about what is egotism in art , slack jones was commented it ended with red flipping out and blocking me and he , ahhhh so it sorta killed the dual but it flares back up again like a pack of hemroids , ,

the studio as of now......

 

the Studio as of now, its getting cold, i am running through this set of spares  some started  a while back,  hummmm one dog humping hog (seen above) but  both have chimps on them. this other painting called , grandma takes her drunk granddaughter home for a beating!. and  this monkey with a meat cleaver, and old man ,cart with chicken on a hog, and the devil's little hate snake pit, plus a headless chicken, thats abut it six total and , like a returning insane guy i am gonna try and post them to ebay, Why? cause i am crazy,! but the prices will be real life not this bargin bin crap ebay has,.

Making BBQ Sauce, which i think  i am going to make some today, for a video , i am trying to figure out my next cooking vid, i am working on a v-log about F Bacon syndrom,  And i had this campain
about painting naked poolside plus size ladys nude and drinking, but i am hold off on it as i am trying to date this special new lady for the moment, . I love this kinda work but i  if she comes around this place i have to explin it, and i don't want to screw it up its like putting away the dirty magazines  , you have to hid that,  ass i guess art is the same way, .

I think , what i like to do is drink beer and sit here in my studio listening to music and comming up with these like comic sketches based on the chimp "the toy" its just a medium for these ideas, alot of them are spins on" old  Red folk town" type of stuff a bit carny like too,  last night , as i saw this painting "two drunks" i  ran over and sketched up four more pictures based off of  the words, and sorta grossness with the Chimp,  the compusitions are easy its iconic, no worrys there, its mainly just getting it all on there in a certian size thats all, . Now this painting above if it don't move, its going to the wall, i have a new place to store all the ebay rejects now, they might look good there. So i don't care if they move on there at this point, . but like i said in the begining i like to drink some beer and just bullshit up some ideas of paintings, and the i have to make the things,  they are to good to just be an idea,. ahhhh

Well  for the rest of the year at least untill halloween , i am going to be reposting these like nude plus size women paintings older party chick out  by the pool,. the bodies are based of off one liners chatterbate and other crap i come up with. its sumer and its hot,!   i have one up on ebay ,, there is no way this one will sell,  for starters its over 45 bucks, and its crude, . 

It reminds me of a bookstore ebay does its so massive , there was a book store in a maul i would go to and somebody would always grab a nudie mag and rip the plastic bag to look at it and be in the  back of the book store,  and then set the mag some where in  the bookstore, , i think this kinda art serves this in the ebay folk section like someone is looking for something cute then bamb!  i think i am going to amass a massive army of this kinda work and just keep relisting them to flood the listings, they won't sell they are over 40 bucks i might make a graph about that,.  it will be my personal campain against cuteness on ebay!

A giant wooden necklace by Katie Pell

It's wonderful to enter a gallery and be struck immediately by a powerful work, and to exit a half hour later with a smile on one's lips. Such was my experience with an exhibition of Texas artists titled "The Beat'n Trail", at the Alliance Gallery. The Gallery is part of the not-for-profit Houston Arts Alliance, described as the leading force for the arts in Houston. The striking visual, a sculpture, is by Katie Pell, and is titled Charming Are Your Unformed Wishes. It is a number of large wooden links, some curled on the floor, with interlocking links rising to the ceiling, to be continued even there. It was inspired by a family heirloom, a locket, and it gains enormously by its size.
The wood is warm, making the links an ornament instead of a chain, and its immensity suggests a generosity of spirit, a dedication to the hard work of construction, and a rich and expansive personality. There is a companion piece, charcoal on paper, that is a sketch of the chain.

This chimp is a continuing theme for artist George Zupp

George Zupp is widely known in his home town of San Marcos as Chicken George, and in fact he signs his art that way. Each of the numerous fence posts around his studio has a carved chicken at its top. By now you must have guessed that Zupp has a rich sense of humor - he has - and the humor fortunately is carried through into his art. Zupp has a large wooden sculpture, perhaps 2/3 life size, of a man in a casket, rough-hewn, like life, and open at the top to show his zombie-like face. It is also open below the waist, to permit a large wooden column to protrude upward, unrealistically large, with a hatchet buried in its top.The work is titled "The Last Woody" - Zupp is not one of those artists who shower you with "Untitled" names, and is not above giving you a clue to help with interpretation.
Zupp has the talent to amuse, but this work is more than jocular. It has a primitive strength, similar to folk art, and its size invites the viewer to become involved with it. It is not pornographic, or even prurient, but instead is highly daring and original, two admirable traits.
Zupp has created a continuing character, a chimp, and has a portrait of him here, titled "Jolly Chimp", though the lettering over its head reads "Fail". The chimp seems to be holding clashing cymbals, and has a wide-eyed air of rapt attention, as though trying to figure out a concept beyond its capacity to grasp. I know this feeling, as I saw the exhibition just a few days ago, and, while viewing Zupp on Facebook, discovered that curator Tommy Gregory had, unknown to me, videotaped me observing Zupp's work, and posted the video. It's a strange and wonderful world, filled with surprises.
While not shown here, Zupp has a companion piece of the chimp with the overhead lettering spelling "Winning", even though the chimp's ears and mouth are overstuffed with firecrackers. Zupp has several other works here as well - all are priced modestly. I liked "Wife Takes Her Drunk Husband Home", with the wife driving a goat cart.
Kenny Lantz is showing two works, "Searching" and "Fans", sculptures that combine old and new materials. Steve Neves works with graphite on mylar; his "Still the Same" has echoes of Alice in Wonderland, while his 'Have I Lost My Way: Minotaur" references the mythological monster on the island of Crete.
Other artists showing are Vachu Chilakamarri, who paints large abstracts with overtones of Indian art, and Meredith "Butch" Jack, who works in interesting ways with cast iron.
